Calculation of planetary gear ratio
Feb 21, 2019

A simple method for calculating the ratio of planetary reducer; When the stage gear or solar gear A rotates at A certain speed, and the planetary gear B goes around the inner gear ring C once to return to the origin, the speed is the single-stage deceleration speed ratio.Since all gear rings in the same type are common, the reduction ratio is determined by the number of solar gear teeth. The less the number of solar gear teeth, the higher the reduction ratio; on the contrary, the more the number of solar gear teeth, the smaller the reduction ratio. The actual calculation method is the number of inner ring teeth divided by the number of solar gear teeth; The obtained number plus the fixed coefficient, this value is the deceleration ratio. Each single segment number multiplied is the total speed ratio value.
